Mr. Joseph Menefee is the President and CEO of Global Technology Solutions Inc (GTSIINC), leading his work force in support of his clients.  With more than 25 years of professional experience in a wide range of Integrated Command, Control and Communications (IC3) and Command, Control Communications and Computer, Intelligence and Electronics (C4IE) systems, it is easy to understand why he is the founder of GTSIINC.

 

Mr. Menefee’s key areas of expertise include:

·    Systems Engineering

·    Command and Control Systems

·    Tactical Communications

·    UNIX Systems

 

 

In addition to the above specialties, Mr. Menefee is also an aspiring inventor who holds exclusive rights and patents to an electronic device for automobile and motorized transportation. Moreover, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Global Technology Solutions Inc and President of the Frederick Heights Condominium Association since January 2004.

 

 

Prior to becoming the founder of Global Technology Solutions Inc, Mr. Menefee spent 20 years of active military service where he worked in several key positions supporting the U.S Army Global Command and Control Systems Army (GCCS-A) program and the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). While serving in the Army, he was the first person to field test the GCCS-A in a combat zone, and as a result of his achievements, received the “Bronze Star” award. Mr. Menefee was one of the first to brief the concept of Blue Force Tracking (BFT) to the Army Joint Chiefs of Staff, (AJCS) Headquarters Department of the Army. Some of the positions Mr. Menefee has held during his support for GCCS-A includes Senior Administrator, Site Manager and Program Manager. Additionally, he has also received “The President’s Volunteer Service Award” from the council of Service and Civic participation from President George W. Bush.

 

 

Mr. Menefee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia.  He is certified as an UNIX Systems Administrator Certified Professional and UNIX Tools and Utilities Certified Professional, and has completed all level 1 Program Manager Level 1 certification from the Defense Acquisition University, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

 

 

Because he is an established and team focused individual, Mr. Menefee strives on the details of program process flows, as well as primary cost and resource managements, and will always get the job done right.
